In a statement released Sunday, August 6 by NASA chief campaigner Musalia Mudavadi, the opposed ‘exposed’ how Jubilee has been meeting to plan how to rig the polls. Mudavadi claimed Jubilee leaders have been meeting with some IEBC commissioners at a house in Kileleshwa to plan on how their evil mission will be achieved.
We have credible information about covert meetings that top commission leaders have been having in a house in Kileleshwa with part of the secretariat staff and senior Jubilee operatives geared to sabotaging the successful conducting of the elections by the commission,” NASA said.
The opposition also claimed IEBC had not delivered all the necessary election materials to some NASA strongholds, an indication that they intend to sabotage the election. They also asked Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) to ensure there is an uninterrupted power supply across the country.
All political campaigns ended Saturday, August 5, with the main presidential candidates concluding theirs in Nairobi and Nakuru. Uhuru was in Nakuru’s Afraha stadium while Raila pulled a massive crowd in Nairobi’s Uhuru Park.
